Do you agree? 🍕 13 REASONS TO EAT MORE FOOD 👉 1) Calories are delicious (the most important reason of them all). 2) More calories = more energy & more intense training sessions (build/ retain more muscle mass). 3) You’re not you when you’re hungry (thanks Snickers). 4) Being a social butterfly is ten times easier when you eat more food & don’t worry so much about having to track your intake, or be pedantic AF about every little thing you put in your mouth. 5) Carbs, peanut butter & pop-tarts. 6) Pizza. 7) When you diet, all you tend to think about is food. There’s no chance you’ll ever be able to get past this until you begin eating more calories on a consistent basis. 8) More pizza, burgers & sushi. 9) Eating more calories & having more energy to train will more than likely lead to a higher total calorie burn, as a consequence of being able to train harder as well as burn more calories through the digestion process. That’s a win-win. 10) No more hangry girlfriends or boyfriends. 11) Your body will function normally - if you’ve ever dieted for an extended period of time, been very lean or managed to survive on very few calories then you’ll appreciate that your body tends to become a bit of a lemon. There’s a reason girls tend to lose their period, you struggle to get warm & NEAT (non-exercise associated thermogenesis) levels decrease - your body hasn’t got enough calories to be able to perform these sorts of tasks. 12) Things like shivering, restless-leg syndrome, taking the stairs over an escalator, fidgeting etc all tend to take a back-seat when we eat less, whether we realise it or not. 13) Eating more is realistically the only way you’ll ever improve your body composition. I’m not suggesting you go out of your way to eat as many calories as possible & gain an enormous amount of weight, but eating ‘more’, or enough to send you out of a calorie deficit & actually consume as many calories as you’re burning or more will give you the ability to build muscle and change the way your body looks. - If you want to build a better physique, enjoy your training & most of all actually love life, then bookmark this post 🤙
