- A little mid week update & photos of expense lab kit ๐Ÿ˜‰. - A new thorlabs usb power meter has joined the team. Software installation commencing now. - My thesis outline is now working in Texmaker, need Peter to look over it now. - I have some photos of our Base II TERS system or Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy system. This piece of kit lays in the regions of costing 0.5 million with all the trimmings. It has an inVia spectrometer from Renishaw and a Nanowizard II AFM mounted on the top (the blue bit). This system was originally developed to look at graphemes sheets, taking topographical surface information and also chemical information. Making it a pretty powerful tool.
