Ever get home from work late and not been bothered to cook? I can solve this problem for you with one easy suggestion...START #mealprep Mondays or Sundays or whatever day works for you ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ A lot of people when they can't be bothered to cook will go straight to the easy option of takeaway which is just processed foods with highly saturated fats, added salts and sugars that will spike your blood sugar levels, leaving you craving more! It's all empty calories with absolutely no nutritional goodness/value that your body can use. Remember that food is fuel, and nutritious and wholesome food is important to build strong and healthy bones/muscles amongst other benefits like clear skin, hair, nails, correcting hormonal imbalances, mood enhancements, increases energy levels, levelling out blood sugar levels and preventing the risk of obtaining health-related diseases. This meal prep was incredibly easy and quick to put together โœ”๏ธ All you need is 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, chopped zucchini, carrot, pumpkin, capsicum, mushrooms and whatever other veges you like, sautรฉe in a big fry pan and sprinkle some herbs and spices like turmeric and ground cinnamon ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป Meanwhile, I cook up some lean meats/seafood and in this case it was Salmon ๐ŸดBecause I have a huge appetite and a fast metabolism I FILL my bowl with spinach leaves ๐Ÿƒ and place the prepped food on top, potentially adding some more healthy fats like almonds or avocado to keep me fuller for longer ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ I've never been one to complicate my meals and create fancy recipes and I doubt I ever will. Keeping it simple and easy is sustainable, cheap and time friendly.
