- Yo-yo dieting - Hundreds of studies show that the quicker someone loses weight, the more likely they are to regain that weight, if not more after a certain period of time. Then the same cycle will commence again, this cycle has become known as Yo-yo dieting. Why is this the case you might ask - when someone goes on a 'diet' or starts going to the gym they usually make BIG changes, e.g; - Cutting out carbs completely, or any other macronutrient - Vowing never to drink alcohol again - Cutting out all 'junk' food - Going to the gym twice per day - Going to the gym 10+ times a week The above are not necessarily things that someone WANTS to do, ergo they are things that naturally someone is not going to stick to - they are UNSUSTAINABLE, short-term changes for a short-term result. So what's the answer? SUSTAINABLE, long-term changes to someones lifestyle and habits. Make several small changes that you actually want to do and can 100% stick to in your current environment, e.g; - Walk more - Eat more protein - Eat more fruits and vegetables - Drink more - Exercise 3-4 times per week None of the points on this list seem tough compared to the former, right? Think smart, think sustainable, think long-term. Sam Duckworth Fitness Coach.

- I often get asked why I choose the corner bike. Well, because, as a Taurus by trade, I like to know and see what is coming my way, good or bad, even on a stationary bike. WELL...I definitely did NOT see this one coming. From push ups with weight lifts to 30 " max back on bike to burpees! Level = vomit!! Things just became a blurr after 3rd set! 😂#endorphins #indoorcycle #wattbike #sweat #fit #fitbit #fitlife #fitspiration #muse #motivation #moments #taurus #tauruswoman
