- It's Monday & it's my Monday. Monday's normally is very slow paced a hot mess express in our house. The past two haven't been bad since the little has gone back to school. Had two appointments before 1 today so my workout was a little later than normal. I got it done with enough time to shower, make a shake and get out the door to get little man. Of course as I pull into the pickup line, my gas light comes on. - Replaying in my mind the lectures I give my children I constantly find that the advice I'm happy to dole out to them I'm ignoring myself. Dismissing their fear of change, encouraging them to take on new challenges, telling them to put doubts aside and simply #haveago. - Up at 4 to get cardio and abs in before work then to the #ICU circus .... 🎑🎠🎒.... never dull. . . It's a long day ahead. What I found is I actually have more energy throughout the day when I exercise before work. Get that blood flowing. You say you don't have time.... ??? . . Getting to the gym is hard. I KNOW. So guess what there are options at home. For close to 3 years now .... I would pull myself out of bed put on my workout clothes I laid out the night before. . . Nothing fancy.... I've seriously just put a bra on under what I wore to bed and called it good ... you are at home ...who cares! Pulled that hair into a knot or pony and got downstairs and pushed play... SIMPLE! . . Done in 25-30 min and set the tone for my day. High energy.... and my metabolism has been jumpstarted. . . Isn't my charge RN and friend cute?! She's currently doing one of these programs too...
