- This week’s theme for me has been about listening to your soul and creating content that you are CALLED to create. This may seem like a difficult or strange thing to get your head around if it isn’t something that you are used to doing. It doesn’t need to be hard if you just allow it to be easy. My experience has always been that when it comes to content – the more you strategise it and overthink it and edit it and make it all shiny and polished and perfect – THE LESS traction it gets. The stuff that gets the most reach and gets the most traction seems to be the content that is created more from the heart. So, the stuff that, when you sit down to write it, just pours out of you and onto the page. I find this with ALL of my clients too. That when they just ALLOW the words to come and write without focus on the outcome then it WORKS. But how do you know WHAT to write about to get this flow going on? For me, I get really strong messages, that are impossible to ignore. They are those snippets of thought that float in and out of my brain over and over – repeating the same idea. Do you know what I mean? The same idea might be repeated in conversations that come up with people that you talk to. Or they may get your attention in the media with a new article or something in your Facebook newsfeed – you can call this co-incidence if you want to and choose to dismiss it – or you can listen. But the thing is that these ONLY come when you make the space for them – so by allowing yourself the quiet time. The moments of reflection. The space to meditate and breathe. The JOURNALING! For one of my clients they come when she is in the shower – hello mum with young kids! It is one thing to get these repeating ideas but it is another to acknowledge them and recognise them for what they are – messages that you are meant to tell the world. This is where the trust comes in – the having faith that the universe has your back and wants the best for you. Sometimes this is the REALLY hard part – especially when the ideas that you are getting are WAY out there – the ones that push you ALL THE WAY out of your comfort zone....

- #tbt Cancun 2005. When someone wanted to battle me on the mic. The next pic is him giving up. The thing is, I sucked. Haha. But he sucked worse and right then I realized that instead writing 16 bars, I should be lifting them. πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‚ but this was an awesome hurricane party. A childhood friend's house party to wait out Hurricane Emily. They evacuated all the hotels but since he was an owner, it was at our own risk. So he hired the hottest DJ in town, catered and threw a hurricane party that we were locked into for almost 2 days. There were people there that just wandered in. No clue who most of these people were and neither did my friend but it was an awesome time. And yeah, I'm rocking a mustache, chin bush, and a small little curly Puerto Rican fro. 🀣✌ #cancun #mexico #rap #bars #miami #miamibeach #florida #followme #follow #fitness #personaltrainer #trainer #fitspo #instadaily #vacation #thursday #travel #hurricane #island #like4like #likeforlike #getfit #inspiration #motivation #entrepreneur #wanderlust
