- Any of you who are on a restricted diet of some sort can feel the struggle of finding ways to make the foods we love with ingredients we can digest. I will tell you that after several years of working elimination diets in a journey to see what my body can and cannot tolerate I have come to this conclusion. You just can’t have it. You love warm, crusty bread but your system doesn’t? You can’t have it. 🍞🍞🍞 What I mean is, you can’t have it! You can make bread, but it won’t be the same. You can make cookies, but they won’t be the same. You can make pancakes but they won’t be the same. What eventually happens is you become ok with not having, needing or wanting these foods. You re-create your palate. 🍴🍴🍴 With that said here’s a recipe I tried a few weeks back. Yes, I got sucked, again, into the “let’s make bread that I can eat’ scam. This bread does not at all compare to what you dream of bread to be when you take your first bite, but it’s something to put peanut butter on! 🥜🥜🥜 Bone Broth Bread from @lilsipper - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tables apple cider vinegar - 3 large eggs - I C tahini - 1 scoop Vital Proteins Organic Bone Broth (chicken or beef) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine baking soda and AVC in a large bowl and let fizz. Add eggs and mix with an electric mixer until peaked, 3-4 min. Add tahini and bone broth, continue mixing until well incorporated. Pour batter into a standard bread loaf pan lined with parchment, bake approx 30 min. Let me know if you try it and how it went!

- #tbt to my first bikini 💪🏻 comp!! I don’t like to look back in the past often, however always good to reflect and remind yourself of what you’re capable of as well as what you can improve on! So what do I need to work on for next time!? Getting leaner of course, my posing & overall confidence on stage!! What did I achieve!? I proved to myself that I could have #discipline and #perseverance during #prep while overcoming obstacles that presented themselves, while working in a full-time career, being a mama to two, and a wife in addition to maintaining friendships at social events!! Oh and I also got on that damn stage for the first time despite my insecurities #mofo at 32years..... dang😁!! - I often hit points of wanting to stop lifting and working out, asking why am I even doing this? look at those guys over there looking way better than me in the gym. eventually concluding I will never get to the level I want to be at EVER!!!!!. But for me I found the answer was simple....... I wasn't giving even 90% or being consistent.
