- Honestly, it may not look like much, but it was so filling 😌 It was only a few years ago that I added fish to my diet. I grew up a vegan, for the most part. It was hard to stay away from things like chocolate, pizza, and other animal filled products when you're visiting grandparents because they enjoy feeding you an array of things 🍕🍦🍫 As I got older I started eating chicken and turkey, and for the longest time, if I ever ate meat, it was just those two things. Fish, to me, is one of the cleaner and more healthy animal products you could have in your diet, and I do enjoy it on occasion. . While on the note, diet, we all have one, and there are many (there are first and foremost, those who don't understand that what they eat everyday is infact their diet, there are also vegans, vegetarians, carnivores, flexitarians, low carbers, no carbers, no fats, low fats, Marco goers, keto goers, raw foodies, belief based diets, medical based diets, YOU NAME IT there are many of them), and since I'm continually learning, my diet can fluctuate. What's right for one person, may not be right for another, AND THAT'S OKAY! I do believe in a healthy discussion of diets, but never the judgement of one. Each persons body is their own temple, and it is up to them how they decorate it. . Now, for lunch. I pan fried a 4 oz. salmon and garnished it with toasted baby red potatoes and avocado. I bought this walking around he grocery store, iPad in hand, scanning foods that went together on MTP so that I could eat something of substance and still make my low macros for the day, and I did it!🎉 . In every day there's something to learn and accomplish.
