Instagram photo by nightireU.K.-peeps... tomorrow the clocks go forward, which means you lose an hour of rest, but it also means longer summer days are ahead☀️🌼😎! Whoopie! So, we've put a few tips together to make the transition as easy as possible:
- Get to sleep earlier tonight (um, obviously) and try having dinner an hour earlier so you're well digested by bedtime.
- Take a nap if you need to catch up on a few lost hours of sleep on Sunday: stick to either 90 mins or 20 mins as these fit perfectly within sleep circuits.
- Drink Green Tea as it contains some caffeine to keep the morning-after tiredness at bay, but also has some amino acids that can help with anxiety and get us relaxed for the next night's sleep.
- Open the curtains when you wake up, as sunlight is your body's natural alarm clock and will help you wake up well in the am. #humansinpyjamas #daylightsavings
