- I didn't expect for watching @rachaelray this morning to remind me of my dad, but it did. I haven't watched it in probably over a year. Sometimes the emotions of grief hit me out of no where, other times they are pretty constant. When dad got sick and couldn't work, we would come home from radiation and watch Rachael together. Not a super exciting memory you would think, but it's one of those times that makes me so thankful for being able to have those little moments with him. So instead of rushing around and trying to answer emails and phone calls, I made a cup of coffee and just decided I'm going to sit here and watch for a little while. I think it was dads way of reminding me it's ok to take a break and enjoy the moment. #cancersucks #lifeisshort #enjoythemoment #daddysgirl #myguardianangel #moyock #northcarolina #butfirstcoffee
