- Health is not just about what you're eating or working out. It's also about what you're thinking and saying. ------------------------------------------ Mental health is so so important to me. Today I was really down on myself because I looked and felt lean but the scale was higher than normal. I began to go back to my old ways of mentally beating myself up and deciding I was going to eat very little today. I went to the gym and killed some plyos + core circuit (I'm in the middle of dying during it in this pic😂😂) and I decided to change my mentality and not feed myself negativity. I CHOSE to love myself and the way God made me and how hard I'm working 💜 promote self love and speak up about mental health.

Today I trained back, bis and core, danced, did posing practice and yoga. I'm looking forward to my rest day tomorrow. Did the 6:30 with @nickspadaro tonight (who KILLED it, as per usual).As the class was going, there were so many little moments where I had the choice to push myself harder or to settle. To give myself that extra half turn, to engage my core, or to stay in my comfort zone. And, as Nick reminded us when we were taking it home, every day we're becoming the person we will be tomorrow; the person we will be is up to US, no one else. WE make the choices that shape us. And tonight, I made the choice to pedal a little harder, to give myself that extra turn, to smile through the hills, to believe in my ability to push harder, become stronger. Whether you're fighting to better yourself on a bike, on the ice, with mental health, or just as an overall person, you are empowered to make the choices that will make you stronger. Who will you be tomorrow?
