- Homemade clam chowder day! Recipe is off the internet, not sure what website i screenshot instructions. I did not realize how easy clam chowder is to make! Its been one of my favs but ive always been to intimidated to try cooking it myself...loads of fresh veggies (i think adding #snowpeas to this recipe would have been good) like #carrots, #celery, #onion and #potato. Recipe called for a quart of half and half AND over a stick and a half of #butter, which gives the chowder its creamy indulgence (and loads of #calories). Ive never cubed potatoes before either so some of my potato pieces are mismatched. Recipe also called for red wine vinegar, which i didnt use. Clam flavor is not over powering, could have easily added another can or two. Fresh crunchy #bread and i may not have room for dessert! #clamchowder #organic

Adding some parsley and celery leaves to a green smoothie is a great way to reduce pre menstrual bloating, parsley is highly nutritive making it a fabulous addition to a green smoothie. - My herbs collections. Currently I grow 6 pots of #scallion, 5 pots of #celery, a single #basil (and I'm going to cultivate more from cutting and seed), several seedlings of #parsley, one #rosemary bush and some of its seedlings, and tons of #mint (I'm goint to replant them for good). Actually I have 2 pots of #chive, but it's a bit hard to grab it from the balcony.
