- Ok. Ok. Breathe. We are entering the MOST intense New (Dark) Moon that I have felt in years. This past week has been beyond emotional for many of us, as well as feeling very old triggers and patterns float rapidly to the surface. As intense and perhaps scary as this may feel, it’s actually a good thing! The ONLY way that we can truly move past unsatisfactory parts of ourselves, is to face them with honor and then let them go. The reason why this may feel scary, is because we may be seeing traits of ourselves come up that we can’t control. Hot temper? Rage? Reacting without thinking? Taking EVERYTHING personal? Super Sensitive? Feeling Unworthy? These are all feelings and thoughts that need to be addressed before we can move on to the next chapter. If someone or something enrages us, it’s beneficial to ponder what traits we may have in common with this person or situation. Do we see ourselves in this? Does this person trigger a traumatic event from the past that requires healing? This is the time to purge! Acknowledge your insecurities and fears, but don’t let them unpack. Show them the door, because honestly you have been doing so much work internally this year and you have come so far! These emotions and triggers come up to test our progress, to remind us of how far we’ve actually come and to allow healing where we thought we were already healed. - I never thought I'd be a yoga person. I tried so many times in my life and never really felt that thing that everyone was going on and on about. Until I learned how to listen to myself & really feel my feelings. Yoga has become such a balm to the mood swings of bipolar disorder. Not just our skin but also our internal health will decline as well. Ever heard of people who get sick after a very stressful week? That's because too much stress can cause our immune system to go down and also our skin to start getting break outs a lot. BUT what can we do?? We can do some stress management activities such as: ✔Meditation ✔Dancing ✔Drawing ✔Musics ✔Breathing exercise ✔meet up with friends for brunch Or other activities that you may enjoy. Whenever you feel stress just breath, KEEP CALM and ENJOY the day. 😄 Your skin will love you for it 😉
