- It's Day 5ish (semi-Sunday start) of my #7dsd as I just needed a lift in my nutrition 🥗to debloat, feel light, and reset my tastebuds for natural food. I've been snacking a lot as of late on "healthy" processed snacks. 🤷‍♀️ Life's been busy and convenience was starting to rule the cupboards. 🥐🌰🧀🍷 After 5 days though, I'm finally feeling refreshed! 🍃 I love using the @toneitup #7dayslimdown plan as a way to reset my body when I've got off track for a little too long, even when the whole #tiuteam isn't doing it. Sometimes it's less pressure for me too this way 😉The new recipes have been amazing and I haven't felt hungry at all the last five days! Nothing was wrong but at the same time nothing felt completely right and I knew I needed to make some changes in order to find stuff that drew me in and filled me with passion. Fast forward eight months later and I finally feel I’m in a place where I’m ready to create a whole new story ✨ I always preach the importance of putting yourself first and I’ve remembered recently how important the health, wellness, and fitness aspect of my life is in keeping that balance for me. Au programme, pour commencer : 20' de HIIT + 2' de recup ▶️ 1' Corde à sauter ▫ 1' Jumping Jacks ▫ 1' Ciseaux ▫ 1' Course sur place ▫ 1' Montées de genoux ▫ Répéter le circuit 4x avec 30" de recup entre chaque circuit 💦. Ensuite j'ai enchainé avec une séance Popotin 🍑 de 40' avec lestes de 2kg par cheville 💪🏼💦🍑🔥. Ça a chauffé 🔥🍑🔥🍑. Et pour finir j'ai fini avec 10' de gainage 😊. - Getting the hang of meal prepping was one of my most important habits in changing my lifestyle! It seemed daunting at first, but I promise it's not! Below are my Top 3 Tips to meal prep for a healthy week: 1. Plan ALL your meals + snacks for the week on paper (or spreadsheet) 2. Always use dinner leftovers for lunch the next day (save yourself a weeks worth of lunches to plan, trust me) 3. Clean and chop ALL you veggies and fruit. This includes for snacks, side dishes and main dishes. For example- having Stir Fry- chop all the veggies and throw them in a Tupperware or big ziplock. Having peppers and hummus as a snack? Chop a weeks worth and put them in individual bags/containers so you can grab and go! The goal of a good meal prep (for me) is to have as much done as possible when it's time to cook dinner. - LADIES HELP!! Really embarrassed to post this because I'm legitimately depressed on what's happened but I need the accountability more than ever right now. I definitely went through a spurt of bad eating thinking it wouldn't put me back too much but I feel like I'm back to day 1! I swear I've been better about what I've been putting in my body since, and working out harder than I ever have but still not getting to the place I want to be. 😣 I know progress takes time and it's only been 2 weeks since I took this pic, but I have my second dress fitting today and can't stop looking at my body crying because I'm so disappointed in myself. I swear I& #39;ve been better about what I& #39;ve been putting in my body since, and working out harder than I ever have but still not getting to the place I want to be. 😣 I know progress takes time and it& #39;s only been 2 weeks since I took this pic, but I have my second dress fitting today and can& #39;t stop looking at my body crying because I& #39;m so disappointed in myself. - LADIES HELP!! Really embarrassed to post this because I'm legitimately depressed on what's happened but I need the accountability more than ever right now. I definitely went through a spurt of bad eating thinking it wouldn't put me back too much but I feel like I'm back to day 1! I swear I've been better about what I've been putting in my body since, and working out harder than I ever have but still not getting to the place I want to be. 😣 I know progress takes time and it's only been 2 weeks since I took this pic, but I have my second dress fitting today and can't stop looking at my body crying because I'm so disappointed in myself. I don't know what to do and I need some advice!! 🙏🏼
- #realtalk • LONG AND NOT POSITIVE POST AHEAD • I read so many times "when you feel like you're falling back, look at how far you've already come". And while that holds true, when I look back, I can see myself in 2015 - photo on the right. Best shape of my life, only 4 months of kickboxing, half marathon training, and some resistance. No counting, no worrying, just cutting out what I thought as unhealthy. FOUR MONTHS. Fast-forwards to now, 2017, left photo. 31 weeks of BBG, about the same weight as photo on the right, 6 months of counting and almost two months of not counting. Almost twice the time, worse results. • My own enemy is myself, and I can't move past that. • I've lost all my mojo. I've lost all my motivation. I've become so lazy that all I want to do after works is nothing. I dread cooking dinners, I dread meal planning and prepping, so I just end up eating whatever I have. I want to go back to counting but I dread the daunting process. I look through tens of recipe pages and NOTHING sounds appealing. I don't want to eat my veggies. I indulge WAY too much. I want to run the marathon in October that I've been training for since February but I dread my long runs. I failed 20 miles once, and I'm afraid to fail again. I don't understand why my stomach is holding on to the fat. I wish I didn't have to watch what I'm eating because as soon as I step away from counting, all the fat is back. I hate that I can't repeat my past progress. I want to be back on track but I literally don't know how anymore. • I'm lost, and I can't seem to find my way back. • I tried so hard to keep positive on this account but today was it. I think all the information I keep scrolling through everyday is overwhelming. From counting to not, to paleo, to IE, to whayevernots. And while I find all of you SO inspiring, I can't not compare. I realize that a lot of this might be the effects of hormones that I am anxiously awaiting to leave my body. But the reality is, I think I need a break. • Stay positive guys, keep rocking your worlds, and hopefully I will find my way back on track soon. 🤞🏼
