It always gives me such mixed feelings- I'm proud of how far I've come but disappointed in myself at that point!
This was between kiddos...we were trying to get pregnant with #2
and I was like "well I'm just going to gain weight anyway so what's the point in getting healthy before I get pregnant"...WHAT! Whyyyy I thought that is beyond me- I should have been working hard to take care of myself and make my health a priority. I had zero motivation and had completely put myself on the back burner.
I'm glad I finally decided to make a change- even if it was over a year later. Sometimes it's hard to see the changes and notice how far we've come. Do yourself a favor and give yourself time, allow mistakes, treat meals 🍕and give yourself some grace. Changing your lifestyle doesn't happen overnight. It's a gradual process that takes time, effort and lots of patience. Find little reminders that help keep you going. ✨ And if you need someone to cheer you on along the way, you know I'm right here!
