FASTING DAY 4: So I think I feel like fastings kinda like marathon running. I've done it once but didn't get the bug. I'm glad I did it and I'm on my last day but can't decide how effective it is or if I'll do it again... I think true results come in the after, you know? I'm all about real life and only doing things that you can maintain for a life style. Nothing extreme. Life. Living it. So maybe I'll do it again, maybe once a month, maybe never. I don't know... At age 10, they enrolled me in martial arts, it took me 3 years just to get my yellow belt. BUT I KEPT GOING. I WAS PATIENT, I WAS PERSISTENT. And then one day, it’s as if I woke up and everything came together. I was suddenly faster, stronger, and fitter then most of the kids around me. It took me 3 years to get my yellow belt in karate, but it took me only 3 more to get to my black belt and become an instructor. I never got on a high school basketball team, but I made it on a university team! I was one of the least fit kids in school, and in my 20’s and 30s I got multiple fitness awards and now teach others how to get fit. I NEVER GAVE UP. So be patient, be persistent - the only thing that can get in your way is YOU.
