- “Perhaps your hunger to belong is always active and intense because you belonged so totally before you came here. This hunger to belong is the echo and reverberation of your invisible heritage. You are from somewhere else, where you were known, embraced and sheltered. This is also the secret root from which all longing grows. Something in you knows, perhaps remembers, that eternal belonging liberates longing into its surest and most potent creativity. This is why your longing is often wiser than your conventional sense of appropriateness, safety and truth ... Your longing desires to take you towards the absolute realization of all the possibilities that sleep in the clay of your heart; it knows your eternal potential, and will not rest until it is awakened” . . . . #johnodonohue #eternalechos #wisdom #longing #findingplace #belonging #truenature #cominghome #clearseeing #eternalbelonging #naturescomposition #smallgrowingthings #greengrowingthings #thenaturalworld

- IN HER OWN WORDS Jessica Wagner Myrtle Beach, SC I don’t identify myself as a feminist. Not because I don’t believe in equal rights; I do. Not because I think men are better; I don’t. Not because society doesn’t have a long way to go; It does. Not because I’ve never been sexually assaulted; I have. Not because I have never been treated as overly emotional for trying to solve a very real problem; It happens all the time. I don’t identify myself as a feminist. Because I like homemaking; Because I like being a Mom; Because baking makes me happy; Because my kinks are decidedly ‘anti-feminist’; Because I’ve been taught I’m not allowed to enjoy being submissive and still be a feminist. The same movement that will tell me I can be whatever I want to be and shouldn’t let men or “The Patriarchy” stand in my way has created an environment that makes it difficult for me to say out loud what I want to be. “Be who you want to be!” ... “No! Not like that!” The only thing feminism “should be” is supportive of women living their lives on their terms, but I have never felt that. I do not feel supported in my life choices. I feel adrift, like the bastard child of the movement that shaped me. The women who empowered me to choose are no longer interested. ***We want to feature you! - #tbt I have always been who I am ...had the same knit brow and look in my eyes; reticent and unsure about the world ...and cats 🐾 We come into this place as ourselves; defined, present, clear seeing. Likes and dislikes, abilities and passions. We are who we are, before we are told who to be. Squashed, dumb down, “toughened up” and re conditioned. Practical, and re molded, appropriate and nice. Ultimately, we come home to ourselves. To who we have always been and our true nature. If we are lucky, we find some person, some book, some place, that offers us a fleeting but authentic reflection of ourselves, and plants the seeds of unraveling illusion, and of homecoming. And they grow. Sometimes we live a lifetime believing the falsehoods, our tender and true selves remaining tightly curled, never exposed to the light of day ... We realize and regret, only at the end of our days. Our true potential unexpressed, until the next time around. I’m curious; •What are your early childhood memories ...what mattered and what did you have to say? •Do those loves have a place for expression your life now? •What might be in the way? . . . . #whatmatters #doingthework #cominghometoonesself #ourtruenature #clearseeing #ourunfetteredstate #authenticself #falseconditioning #illusion #acorntheory #lifetrue #corevalues #valuesbasedcoaching #valuesblueprint #findingplace #heroinesjourney #alwaysbeenme #treehugger #earthlover #catperson
