- Kunst breekt heerlijk de week! 🍳 Deze week laten we ‘m breken door Simon van Til. Met zijn camera vangt de Nederlander onzichtbare verschijnselen zoals tijd, ruimte, licht en afstand. Zo zien we meer dan we met het blote oog zouden kunnen. 👀 #2: Night (2012) is een monochroom (eenkleurig) blauw vlak dat lijkt op een foto van de lucht overdag. Maar, het is een foto die ’s nachts gemaakt is. Van Til richtte de camera naar de hemel in een hoek van 90 graden en liet deze 8 uur en 13 minuten registeren, van zonsondergang tot zonsopgang. De extreem lange sluitertijd verdrijft de nachtelijke duisternis met het laatste schemerlicht en de opkomende zon. 💙 #simonvantil #vantil @huismarseille #night #nacht #blue #monochrome #monochroom #sunset #sunrise #dusktilldawn #weekbreek

- #Good morning everyone. It’s not selfish to #give TO yourself as much as you give OF yourself. Make yourself a priority. Are you the most #important person in your life? How often do you make time for yourself? Most of us take on way more than we can handle. We have so much to do & not enough time to do it. We #stress ourselves out & are exhausted by the end of the day. Many #women are more concerned about making everyone else in their life a priority before themselves, whether children, boyfriend/husband, boss, or friends. But it is when you make yourself a #priority in your life, your life becomes much more #enjoyable. When you make yourself a priority, not only do you benefit, but so do the people around you. If you are burned out, stressed out or overloaded, what’s left to give to others? For some, the idea of making yourself a priority may feel #uncomfortable, but it is not a #selfish act. I’m not suggesting you ignore or abandon the needs of others. I’m saying that you need to take better care of yourself & be the very best you can be, for yourself, & for the people in your life. You should not feel guilty for choosing to do so, as you are the most #important person in your life! Here are some tips for making YOU the priority: Tip #1 – Learn how to say “No” without feelings of guilt. Tip #2 – Make “Me Time” a priority. Tip #3 – Manage your time. Tip #4 – Have an evening out, either by yourself or with friends. Go out & do something you love, gives you joy & excites you. Your evening out will help you become a better girlfriend, wife, mother, friend & enable you to function more efficiently @ your job. Follow these tips & you will notice how much of an impact it has on your life. You will feel less stressed & be in a better state of mind in order to #excel in your life & your confidence will improve too! When you are feeling great, you’ll then be able to better support your #family & #friends. I #love you all...💋☕❤

- My doctor gave me this book due to my crazy diet this time around. Baby #2 apparently doesn't want me to eat gluten or sugary food (makes me feel super miserable). I was also doing the vegan thing (thanks to "What The Health") But as a licensed naturopathic doctor with a background she gave me a more clear and balanced perspective. I decided to focus on organic, whole foods that make my body feel good. This book is a great and easy read with tons of amazing resources. I love the cookbook and the tons of resources in the back. She also instructs you on pregnancy yoga poses. Lower back pain started super early this time around so I've been trying to find stretches that help. Here's to Week 17! Anybody else pregnant for the first or second time? What resources do you use? I'm searching for tips on balancing a toddler while pregnant! That's a whole new post! 🙈🤰🏽
