- This is a glute focused workout~it hits all 3 parts of your peach and a little abs, lower back, and legs too. ***You can do this workout 1-2 times a week; make sure to rest at least 2 days in between. I did 3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise (for single-leg exercises, do 10 reps on each leg) Beginners, see how 2 sets feel before repeating a third time. This is a superset circuit workout; you will do 10 reps of the first exercise and immediately complete 10 reps of the second exercise. Then you will rest for 60 seconds and move on to the second superset. After the third superset, rest for 60 seconds again, and then repeat the workout. If you have any questions or need help with proper form, please do not hesitate to ask. I’m here to help! -- 💦Sip water throughout workout __ SUPERSET #1: •Exercise 1: Hip abductors with resistance band***keep core tight, shoulders back, and hips squared. Focus on squeezing your butt muscles; only your working leg should be moving •Exercise 2: Side planks***place your elbow directly under your shoulder (please note: mine are slightly out too far) and keep your head in line with your body (NOT looking down, or left, or right, but straight ahead) keep core and glutes tight. Hold for 30-60 seconds each side. ***Rest 60 seconds __ SUPERSET #2: •Exercise 1: Dumbbell deadlifts***stand with feet shoulder width apart and hold dumbbells in front of you with an overhand grip. Bend forward at the hips and slowly bend knees until dbs hit the ground. Focus on squeezing the glutes and keeping your weight over your heels while returning to starting position •Exercise 2: Ball hip bridges***lay on ball so your upper back is supported and keep your feet flat on the ground (heels under knees) and shoulder width apart. When you lift up, squeeze your glutes and hold. Do not overextend ***Rest 60 seconds __ SUPERSET #3: •Exercise 1: Lateral band walks***with feet shoulder width apart and abs tight, squat down about half way.
