@dottidee 1 cup sugar, 3/4 heavy whipping cream, 1 tsp vanilla. 1) Start by melting the dry sugar on the stovetop in a medium sauce pan w/medium heat. Do not stir, but shake the whole pan occasionally to prevent burning. 2) As soon as it has all melted and becomes amber in color, remove from the heat for three seconds. 3) Pour in the whipping cream, stirring constantly until the bubbling calms down. 5) Then put it into a jar and let it cool until room-temp. (Then place in the frig).
