Instagram photo by littletreasuresproject We had a few days of weird weather, where it would be sunny one second and pouring the next only to clear up and turn sunny all over again. You can see one of the torrential downpours over the ocean in this shot I snapped while we were walking along the beach (hunting for those elusive shells and coral bits).
Earlier that day, B had an incident involving her ankle, a light dining chair, and bad weight distribution from sitting on her knees to reach the table. I thought we were down for the count for the full day, but after icing and elevating her leg for a bit, she insisted that we take a family walk along the shore. So in spite of the swelling appendage and rando rainstorms, we headed out. We managed to do some collecting and stumbled upon the remains of an old pier or dock that has been overtaken by sea birds.
It was one of those days that will always replay in my head like an old school video taped family movie. A good, good day by the ocean.
